:(

Well, this is depressing. It 's our 3 month anniversary. And there is no interesting story to tell. A whole bunch of nothingness. No Greg. This sucks! I mean I'm just sitting here on my computer typing about how sad I am that Greg isn't here or that I'm not there while listening to Celine Dion songs... yes, depressing I know! This just sucks! That's all I have to say...

I MISS HER SOOO MUCH!!!

Ok, Little Miss Traveler! I thought you were getting back to Italy today, but I haven't recieved a reply to any of my emails yet! I figured with the 7 hour difference, you'd surely have written, but it's probably about 11:00 there now, so I'm guessing you've crashed. (I bet you're tired!) Anyway, I hope you're having fun, and I better get a HUGE email from you about what you did in Belgium and stuff!!! :-)

I LOVE YOU, KITTEN! :-)

Well I'm here

After an 8 hour plane ride to London and a 2 hour plane ride ( not to mention the in between time sitting in the airports)... I am here. It's 3:30 AM over here and yet I'm wide awake. It'll take me forever to get use to the time change! To top it all off in a few hours I have to jump on another plane... nonstop I tell ya!

So I get here thinking that my kitties have missed me SO much, and instead I've found that it is my mom who missed me the most...

Speaking of missing people... I MISS GREG!!! And it didn't help that the radio that was on the plane was playing his music like Reckless Kelly & all those other songs about coming home.

I love you Greg more than you'll ever know!!!

Michelle

Ladies & Gentlemen... Michelle has left the nation...

That's right. Since finals are over and the holidays are just around the corner, my sweetheart Michelle has returned to Italy, to spend some time with her mom and her beloved kitties. I miss her much (and look forward to her first "international" post to TMGE) but I know she's going to have a great time travelling all over Europe with her mom. A few days ago, my sister gave me a copy of her new Nickelback album called "All the Right Reasons". Though one of the tracks called "Photograph" is already special to Michelle and me, I heard another song that I think completely sums up our relationship. It's called "If Everyone Cared". Though posting an MP3 of the song would probably get me lynched, I'd like you to read the lyrics. The parts that touched me the most (and remind me most of my sweetheart) are bolded.

From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight

Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive

[Chorus:]
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

And I'm singing

Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive

And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along

Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
(I'm alive)

[Chorus x2]

And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
When nobody died...

[Chorus]

We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day when nobody died

Honey,
I know you're probably exhausted from your trip, so get some rest and enjoy your holiday in Europe. Know that I look forward to spending at least a few days with you before classes resume, and that I think about you at least 59 seconds out of every minute of my day!

KISSES TO YA!

The Final Weeks of Fall '05

Dead week has begun! Finals week comes next week, and then the horrible end, wherein Michelle leaves me here for a month. Sounds like she and her mom will have an awesome time travelling Europe, but gosh, will I miss her! I made it through my hell day last week, (I had 3 tests last thursday) thanks to the great stress-relieving effect Michelle has on me :-). Now, I'm getting ready to write my final paper (due monday) and preparing for the 2 finals I have on tuesday. I just can't wait for the few days Michelle and I have together after finals, before she takes off. We're going to have so much fun!

Right now, the temperature is 30 degrees! Tomorrow, the high is 33, so I think the icecicles that have developed outside will keep growing into tomorrow evening. We might even get some snow! What an exiciting thought! Well, I guess I better wrap this up. Got a long day tomorrow. Hope that all our readers are having a good month. I hope we have some readers! Anyway... talk to y'all later...

MICHELLE IS THE COOLEST G/F EVER! (even cooler than the weather we've been having!)
